| Passing on goods can dangerously weaken the total security
system. So Boon Edam developed the Packlock which makes physical contact between the deliverer and the receiver
impossible at any time. The areas remain separated by glass. The Packlock consists of a fixed outer barrel and a revolving
inner barrel, both open at two ends. The deliverer deposits the package on the receiving platform. The receiver, who is in the security area, presses the button and lets the Packlock turn I80°. Should anyone try to swiftly slip in with the goods, a push button is sufficient to instantly lock the Packlock. |
