The Acuswing Sensor

The Acuswing is a new sensor designed specifically for the Gyro Tech swing door operators.  The Acuswing combines proven technology used the Acusensor system with leading edge microprocessor technology to bring you the most sophisticated sensor available.

The tamper resistant Acuswing sensor is strategically mounted on top of the swinging door.  This sensor's positioning helps reduce contact with potentially damaging objects while providing a superior vantage point for detection.  The high speed microprocessor provides the most reliable sensing operation available today.  Thousands of scans of the coverage area are taken during the opening and closing cycles.  This coverage includes the leading edge of the door.

The Acuswing has a low profile and sleek appearance, making it the perfect compliment to many entrances.  The sensor is ideal for multi-unit installations because of mutual interference channels.

Make your next door a "Smart Door" with the Acuswing system.

Figure 2: Once the obstruction is clear, the door opens allowing the pedestrian to proceed.  Throughout the opening cycle, the Acusensor continues to take thousands of scans of both sides of the door, including the leading edge.
